The lake is not currently exploited however it is very suitable for development as a fishing business; pending planning permission, a dozen or so log cabins around the lake would offer an excellent return on investment and generate reveues over a much longer season than standard Gites.

The property sits within a very pretty valley not far from the World Heritage site of Carcassonne and a short drive from the airports of Carcassonne, Toulouse, Beziers, Montpellier and Perpignan.
