Full Description:

Exceptional spacious villa located by the French border with Spain, set in sought after Les Hauts de Céret, 5 minutes drive above the cultural centre of the town of Céret, 25 minutes to the Mediterranean beaches, 1.5 hours to excellent skiing, and a short distance from the Spanish Costa Brava. The house is heated and cooled by reversible air-conditioning units throughout.

Outside, the low-maintenance garden is laid mainly to lawn set amongst a number of well established fruit trees bordered by flowering shrubs; a gentle slope leads down to the large pool area, featuring a 12 metre saline swimming pool set in a large stone-laid terrace with recessed lighting, pool house incorporating shower, seating area, plus separate equipment room. A cave (cellar) under one part of the house contains the water heater tanks and automatic watering system controls is accessible from an external side door. Receiving sunshine all day, the garden is completely private and benefits amazing mountain views of Mount Canigou and the surrounding countryside.
